Visitors will have the chance to try free samples, talk to people behind the different products and enjoy a range of whiskeys.

The idea of the festival is for people to discover new flavours of whiskey and pick which ones suit them best.

A spokesman from The Whiskey Affair said: '˜We loved last year and meeting the Portsmouth crowd for the first time.

Tickets this time have been moving even quicker than expected.

'˜We' ve got many new brands on the bar and as well as the familiar experts giving away samples and talking about their ranges, we have a few new ambassadors ready to educate you on why they love their products.

'˜The free masterclass for this event is on Mackmyra '“   a new brand to us from Sweden which we can' t wait to discover more about, it's been a massive hit at the festivals theyve been at so far.'

The event has two sessions, one at 1pm and another at 7pm.

Some tickets are still left for both times and available to buy at portsmouthguildhall.org.uk/whats-on/the-whiskey-affair.
