THREE weekends of Christmas joy at the home of a fundraiser has made £1,200 for charity.

Julie Scarborough turned her Widley home into a winter wonderland, inviting the public to enjoy a sleigh ride on a human reindeer, pick up some great bargains in the bling sale and meet Father Christmas.

Every child who stopped by picked up a present and so too did the adults.

It meant Naomi House children’s hospice – which Mrs Scarborough has supported for many years – is now much better off. She said: ‘There was such a wonderful atmosphere here and I can’t thank my friends enough for helping me out.’
