TWO men who got stuck up a cherry picker needed to be rescued by firefighters.

The pair were carrying out some work on a three-storey building near the car park at Cosham railway station.

But the platform would not lower and they had to dial 999.

Two fire engines from Cosham and an aerial ladder platform from Southsea, whose crew was carrying out training in the area, went to the scene at 12.10pm yesterday and got the men back on the ground.
