FUTURE stars of the small screen are flocking to take part in the production of a new soap opera.
The makers of Chalkhill Lives – a drama set in a fictional part of Portsmouth – are thrilled with the response they have had from people in the area to their call for cast members.
But they are still looking for talented individuals to help with the acting, writing and technical production of the show.
Screen-acting and screen-writing workshops are set to commence in the first week of June.
The show will broadcast over broadband Internet – becoming the world's first Internet soap – as well as transmitting to local residents on both Portsmouth and Southampton TV.
Chalkhill Lives is set to commence filming in October, with transmission commencing January 2004.
Anyone wishing to star in the soap or write the scripts and storylines should still apply, contacting Surridge Screen Films Ltd on 07932 698790.
