Yellow weather warning for Portsmouth area tomorrow
WEATHER warnings have been issued for the Portsmouth area informing people of strong winds tomorrow morning.
The yellow warning from the Met Office says winds near the coast could reach up to 65mph while inland they could reach 55mph.
Heavy rain is also expected so people are being warned of possible flooding. The Met Office said: ‘A spell of heavy rain and some very strong winds are expected to sweep across southern and south-eastern parts of England during Saturday night and Sunday morning.
‘Please be aware of the risk of difficult driving conditions due to localised surface water flooding and possible debris from trees.’
