Young business scrubs up well

A SOUTHSEA firm has embraced the soap-making history of the city and expanded.

Southsea Bathing Hut has set up shop at Strong Island Co in Highland Road, where it will be selling its handmade soaps and toiletries.

The business, which was founded in April 2015 by Samantha Worsey and her husband John, celebrated the link-up with the local clothing company with an official opening on Saturday.

SBH handed out free goodie bags to their first customers at the grand opening.

Some of the products on offer at the shop include the Salty Sea Scrub, and the Blooming Bath & Shower Oil.

The company is a family affair, with Samantha developing products and strategy and running the business while John, who works freelance as a copywriter, lends his expertise to branding and marketing.
