Young Portsmouth musicians took part in gig
YOUNG musicians were given the chance to hold a gig at a popular music venue.
Portsmouth Music Hub held the Rock the Rooms events with its bands to mark the end of the school year. The event gave the musicians the chance to perform at the Wedgewood Rooms, Southsea.
The concert, held last month, brought together young singers, guitarists and drummers, aged between 12 and 17.
Stu Brewer, who leads the Portsmouth Music Hub’s rock bands, said: ‘It was an amazing night and a gig the musicians will never forget.
‘The bands invest a huge amount of time and effort into their performances, and when you see them on stage you can’t help but be inspired.’
