COFFEE lovers rejoiced on Saturday as a new Costa Coffee opened up at Collingwood Retail Park.

Fareham’s new mayor, Councillor Connie Hockley, did the honours by cutting the ribbon at a ceremony in front of the new store.

The 1,750sq ft shop is in the heart of the retail park and has created 15 barista jobs, with all employees undergoing training ahead of the launch.

Cllr Hockley said: ‘We’re delighted to welcome Costa Coffee to Collingwood and wish them every success.’
