A COUNCIL magazine is set to be moved online with printed copies to be only given to those who request them.

Fareham Today, which contains news about the borough, has been published and handed to residents quarterly by Fareham Borough Council since the 1990s.

It costs the local authority £31,591 to produce the magazine yearly.

At a meeting of the council’s executive last Monday it was decided that the content would move online with only printed copies to be delivered on request and for a limited number of printed magazines to be kept at the Civic Offices, libraries and community centres.
