A SHOPPING centre has raised almost £700 for a children’s charity.

Fareham Shopping Centre donated a cheque for £670 to Marvels and Meltdowns – its charity of the year.

The funds were raised through a variety if fundraising activities from October 2017 to June this year. The charity provides autism family support.

Fareham Shopping Centre’s manager, Mike Taylor, said: ‘We are proud to have worked in conjunction with Marvels and Meltdowns to help raise as much money and awareness as possible for such a commendable cause.

‘As always, we are amazed by the generosity of our shoppers and encourage them to continue their support into the future.’
