A ‘large depression’ has been reported on a busy road in Fareham.

Hampshire County Council’s roads team tweeted that the issue had been spotted in Highlands Road between the Hill Park Working Mens Club and Hill Park Road.

It said: ‘Our teams are currently investigating the cause of the issue and planning appropriate action.’

Traffic is building in the surrounding area, with queues on Highlands Road and Gudge Heath Lane.
