Man, 22, found dead in woodland near coast

A 22-year-old man was found dead in a village near the coast yesterday (September 19). 

His body was discovered in the woodland near Church Road, in Warsash.

Police say his death is not being treated as being suspicious. 

A spokeswoman for Hampshire Constabulary said: ‘We were called shortly before 5pm on Wednesday 19 September after a 22 year-old man’s body was found in woodland on Church Road in Warsash.

‘The death is not being treated as a suspicious.

‘A file will be prepared for the Coroner in due course.’
