A MAYOR was given a tour of key departments at a hospital on Friday.

Councillor Connie Hockley, Fareham’s mayor, visited the Queen Alexandra Hospital’s rheumatology and orthopaedic departments, where she undertook a tour of the facilities and met with various charities.

Dr Young Min and Rheumatology Matron Colin Beevor gave the councillor an update on the hospital’s service.

Colin said: ‘It’s great that we could give the mayor a guided tour of the department of rheumatology and orthopaedics and fracture clinic.

‘She was able to meet key members of the team and patient and public representative – hearing about the great partnership work that we are undertaking with patient charities and organisations.’
