Person rushed to hospital after Portchester crashÂ

A person had to be rescued from a car by firefighters following a crash in Portchester.Â

Emergency services were called to Nelson Road at about 7.40am today (November 21) following the collision which involved two vehicles '“ including a pink Mini. 

Firefighters from Portchester and Cosham attended the crash this morning.

One person had to be rescued from the Mini by fire crews, who extracted them by removing the roof of the vehicle. 

The person was then taken to hospital for further treatment. 

A picture from the scene showing the badly damaged Mini following the crash was shared on social media by Portchester fire station. 

The News have approached South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) for details about the person's condition.Â
