PLANS have been unveiled for a 22-home estate in Swanwick.
Developer Foreman Homes submitted plans for the homes on land to the south and east of Rookery Avenue to Fareham Borough Council last month.
The proposed site is 1.48 hectares and is bordered by homes at Rookery Avenue and Castilian Way.
It will be divided into two separate parcels, with the western side bordering homes and the second is wooded and overgrown.
The developer states that 40 per cent of the homes will be affordable housing.
Vehicle access to the site will be provided via newly-created access from Rookery Avenue.
The application states: ‘We are working to ensure the creation of an attractive and sustainable community.
‘An understanding of the local character of Swanwick and nearby settlements has informed the design rationale for the masterplan.’
The borough council have targeted December 22 as a decision date for the prospective development.
