CHRISTMAS spirit will be truly alive and well at a nativity festival next month.

The event at Portchester Methodist Church on December 10 and 11 will see the nativity story told through a series of art and floral displays, a children’s activity corner and a Christmas-themed art exhibition.

Portchester Historical Society will also be getting involved in the event, by displaying photos of previous Christmases and winters in Portchester

Tea, coffee and mince pies will also be available for guests to tuck into while they explore the displays and artwork.

Entry will be free to members of the public with the church open to view on the Saturday from 10am to 4pm and on the Sunday from midday to 3.30pm.
