A SCHOOL has been given a national award for reducing its carbon footprint.

Sarisbury Church of England Junior School in Allotment Road, Sarisbury Green, has picked up the Silver Modeshift Starts Award.

The award, which recognises the efforts of the school in reducing its carbon footprint, was presented to the school by Fareham’s mayor Councillor Connie Hockley at a ceremony earlier this month.
