The so-called ‘Beast from the East’ is sweeping the UK, and has resulted in the Met Office issuing weather warnings across the nation.

An amber warning for snow has been issued by the Met Office for the Portsmouth area, which is in place from 12pm tomorrow.

Several schools across the region have already announced they are closing tomorrow.
