Stubbington Green post office is closing for refurbishment next month.

The changes are part of a modernisation programme designed to make it easier for customers to do business through longer opening hours and modern open plan environments.

Car tax renewal and a
selection of on-demand currencies will be added to the service.

The post office will shut on Tuesday, March 8 at 5.30pm.

Alternative branches are Hill Head Post Office, Crofton Lane, Stubbington, or Lee-on-the-Solent Post Office, Co-Op Store.

The new modernised branch at McColl Retail Group, Stubbington Green, will re-open on Monday, March 21 at 1pm.

Chief operating officer for McColl’s Retail Group, Dave Thomas, said: ‘We are delighted to soon be
welcoming customers to our newly-refurbished Stubbington Post Office, which offers a wide range of services
alongside our extensive retail offer.’
