Vandals smash Fareham pub's unique stained glass window causing £2,000 worth of damage

A Fareham pub has suffered £2,000 worth of damage after vandals smashed a unique stained glass window.Â

Vandals have repeatedly targeted the Hoeford Public House in Gosport Road over the last two and a half months. 

The pub is currently undergoing a renovation to turn it into a nursery.

During the last two and a half months, vandals have broken into the building, breaking fixtures and fittings and smashing windows. 

This latest incident happened at around 1.15pm on Monday, November 11. 

Workmen on the site have spotted three youths who climbed onto a flat roof and smashed four windows on the first floor, including a unique stained glass window.

The damage is estimated to be around £2,000.
