Whiteley tots get stuck in at the library

Children and staff at Kiddi Caru day nursery in Whiteley went to the nursery library to pick out their favourite books to read themselves and to each other, sharing stories all day long.

Nursery manager Kate Gracz said: '˜Reading to children creates wonderful visions and magic as they listen to the different tones in adults' voices.

'˜The children love lots of books and encouraging reading is such an important part of their learning journeys.

'˜We had a really wonderful day re-visiting some of our favourite stories.'
