The people of Gosport came out in force to support the town’s Cats Protection on Sunday.

The charity set up a market stall in the High Street selling items to raise money.

A statement from the organisation said: ‘There are so many people to thank for braving the chilly weather on Sunday who made the Gosport Cats Protection market stall a success in raising £352.78, which all helps cats in our local area.’

Volunteers served a steady stream of customers throughout the day at the stall, including owners of former Cats Protection cats.
