Firefighters called to rescue 80-year-old woman stuck in mudÂ

FIREFIGHTERS were called to rescue an elderly woman after she got stuck in mud in Gosport.Â

A crew from Gosport Fire Station was called to Walpole Terrace at 1pm on Saturday after the 80-year-old woman was reported to be stuck in the mud.

A spokesman from the fire station said: '˜The lady had wandered into the mud and needed help getting out.

'˜Fortunately she was in good spirits and had no injuries '“ we cleaned her up as soon as we got her out.'
