Gosport baby death: Roxanne Davis and Samuel Davies due to be sentenced today

Have your say

Roxanne Davis and her ex-partner Samuel Davies have been found guilty of causing the death of newborn baby Stanley.

Jurors at Winchester Crown Court decided last week that the sinister duo had caused or allowed Stanley’s ‘horrible’ death following their prolonged stint of abuse at their previous address at Garland Court in Forton Road, Gosport.

He also sustained 32 fractures to his ribs and nine fractures to his arms and legs during three separate occasions – many of which were brutal refractures, jurors heard during the harrowing five week trial.

After the verdict last Wednesday Davis, 30, the baby’s mother, lashed out at her former partner and shouted ‘You murdered my baby. You’ve got this wrong,’ before being led away.
