In the episode, Gosport will be transformed into a 17th century Lancashire, where the Doctor and the gang will become part of a witch trial – which only intensifies when King James I arrives.

People commenting on our Gosport News page on Facebook say they are looking forward to tuning in this weekend.

Kirsty Anne said: ‘This series is fantastic, especially the Rosa Parks episode. Jodie Whittaker is doing a fantastic job!’

Sarah Doyle said: ‘Never watched Dr Who before but I'm enjoying it. Looking forward to this next episode.’

Malcolm Dent said: ‘She [Jodie Whittaker] is a fabulous Dr Who in my opinion.’

But not everyone is as keen on the new series – Lee Green, for example, said he’s ‘not watched it and don’t intend to’.

Denise Springthorpe added: ‘I’ll watch this weekend but stopped watching weeks ago after a couple of episodes –  should have had a man again.’
