Two people rushed to hospital after crash closes A32 in Gosport near collegeÂ

A road in Gosport has been closed in both directions and two people have been rushed to hospital after a crash near a sixth form.Â

Forton Road has been completely shut following the collision near St Vincent College this morning. 

Motorists are being warned that there are delays on all approaches as a result of the incident and emergency services are at the scene.

Two people have been taken to hospital following the crash, Hampshire Fire and Rescue have said.

They tweeted: '˜Gosport fire have attended a road traffic collision on Mill Lane, Gosport.

'˜This involved two cars with two people trapped, one in each car. Crews worked to release both persons who were transported to hospital by ambulance.'

A Hampshire Constabulary spokesman said: '˜We were called shortly after 10am to reports of a collision on Mill Lane, near St Vincent College, Gosport.

'˜A Seat Ibiza, Mazda 3, and a Ford Transit Van were involved.'
