Warning over man trying to ‘buy jewellery’ in Gosport

Police are warning residents of Gosport to be wary of a man trying to ‘buy jewellery’. 

The man is said to have visited houses in Jerram Close and asked to be let in to buy jewellery.

And officers have now issued a warning to residents to be wary of potential doorstep criminals. 

Gosport Police tweeted: ‘Aert. We have been informed that recently a male has visited houses in Jerram Close asking to be let in to buy jewellery.

‘Please be alert to the possibility of doorstep criminals in your area.
