Ambulance service issues plea for help to those with 4x4 vehicles '“ to help get its staff to work
THE South Central Ambulance Service is asking people for help in getting its staff to and from work this afternoon and in the evening.
Those with 4x4 vehicles that are free for use are being asked to e-mail their vehicle and contact details, and availability, to the service.
On Twitter SCAS said: ‘If you’re able to help with transport for our essential staff to and from work later today, please email [email protected] giving us your vehicle info, contact details and times you’d be available.
‘The team can then co-ordinate transport for rest of the day.
‘Thank you everyone!’
