American warship USS Harry S. Truman has arrived off the coast of Gosport as her crew visit the south coast.
The 1,096ft ship is moored off Stokes Bay.
Sailors are due to make a run ashore during the stopover.
She is currently on deployment supporting NATO allies, European and African partner nations and US national security interests in Europe and Africa.
The ship is the 8th Nimitz-class aircraft carrier of the United States Navy and was named after the 33rd President of the United States.
