A wide range of contemporary art work will be on view at the Crafts in the Tower exhibition in Old Portsmouth on Sunday.
This month there will be three ceramicists – Bernice Hughes, Rose Bates and Di Wren, who will be showing some new figurative pieces as well as some Easter eggs and chicks.
Mel Brundrit and Teresa Templeton paint colourful contemporary canvases and Kelly Hickman makes large and small pictures using gilding in a variety of metals.
Everyone is welcome to have a go at Kendal James’ popular hama bead pixel art workshops.
In addition, visitors will be able to view the designs for the new Hot Walls studios, opening soon as artists’ workshops just next door to the Square Tower, and discuss them with the organisers.
The tea room will be open all day, serving home-made cakes and savouries.
The exhibition takes place between 11am and 4pm. Entry is free and dogs are welcome.
