ADVENTURES and tales from his youth have inspired a dad-of-two to pen his first book.

Jason Toman, 49, has published his own novel, ‘Needless to Say… Music, Mayhem, Fun and Friendship’. It follows the ups and downs of three boys from Portsmouth – with stories all based from Jason’s own life.

Mr Toman, who is a kitchen and bathroom fitter who lives in Droxford but grew up in Paulsgrove, said: ‘This is my first book and I really enjoyed it.’

The book is available on Amazon for £8,99.
