Coffee event by Portsmouth group raises money for hospital gowns

A COFFEE morning was a success after raising nearly £300.

Members of Portsmouth Breast Friends came together to raise funds for modesty gowns at Queen Alexandra Hospital, in Cosham.

Lauren Farnhill, treasurer, said: ‘It was very well attended and there was lots of cakes and coffee. The money has been used to order modesty gowns at the request of the radiotherapy unit.

‘Women really don’t want to wait in open back, operating gowns.’
