INNOVATORS are set to be given a new centre to work on their enterprises.

The Portsmouth Young Innovators Hub, run by Unloc Enterprise Academy, will have eight hot-desking spaces, a conference room space and two meeting spaces, with high-specification computers and 3D printers.

Anyone who meets the criteria set by Unloc will be able to use the space.

You must be aged 16-20 living in Portsmouth or nearby and have a business, charity, a concept or community project in Portsmouth.

Applicants must also be hoping to grow their business, charity or community project.

And people using the space must want mentoring advice and support while at the site.

Applications opened yesterday with a launch in January.

The hub will be based at the ground floor of Portsmouth College, in Tangier Road, Portsmouth.

Anyone using the hub will be able to use the phones, printers and host meetings with clients.
