AN EMOTIONAL tribute has been paid to a 25-year-old Gosport motorcyclist who died in a collision on the A32 in Fareham.

Daniel Stone was riding his Suzuki 250 north along the A32 Gosport Road yesterday morning when he was run-over by a lorry after hitting the central reservation.

His family have today released a statement paying loving tribute to a loving son who ‘lived life to the full’.

‘Daniel, affectionately referred to as ‘Daniel son’ by his family, is lovingly missed by his parents; Phil and Michelle, and his brothers and sisters; Paris, Kial, Harry, Bluebell, Jimmy and Fred.

‘Daniel was a local lad who grew up in the Gosport area and lived life to the full.

‘He was passionate about his music and bikes and will be missed by his many friends.’

The crash took place just after 8am yesterday.

Witnesses to the collision should call the Serious Collisions Investigation Unit on 101, quoting Operation Honeydew, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

The tribute comes after councillors and MPs appealed for urgent action to improve the safety of the A32.
