Well known Portsmouth resident and landlady Mollie Powell is set to retire in August after a 52 year long career which saw her take charge of three pubs in Portsmouth.

Reaction to the news on social media has been positive, with many sad to see her ago, but also proud and reminiscent of the times they spent with her. Here are some of the comments from The News’ Facebook page:
