Christmas lights will soon be turning on across the Portsmouth area.
November has arrived and its less than two months until Christmas - so it’s time to get in the festive spirit.
Here's when all the Christmas lights in our area will be turned on.
The Christmas lights at the outlet shopping centre will be switched on during the fireworks extravaganza on Thursday, November 8.
Southsea Christmas Lights
Thursday, November 15 - Palmerston Road from 4pm with light switch on at 6pm and firework display weather permitting.
Free, fun family event with local acts, dance schools and entertainers, Local Authors Fair and Love Southsea Christmas market, a bar and children's rides.
City Centre Christmas Lights
Thursday, November 22 - Commercial Road from 4pm with light switch on at 6pm and firework display weather permitting.
Free, fun family event with local acts, dance schools and entertainers. And the opening of the festive Christmas market in Commercial Road.
Cosham Christmas Light
Wednesday, November 28 - Cosham
The Christmas lights will be switched on Saturday, November 24.
The festivities will begin at 3pm and the lights will be turned on at 5pm.
ABBA Rival will be performing ABBA's greatest hits - while Bedenham School's Makaton Choir, the Gosport men’s shed choir and St John’s choir will also be performing.
The lights will be switched on by the cast of New Theatre Royal’s Christmas show – Peter Pan – will be turning the lights on.
Get in the festive spirit at Fareham's Victorian Christmas weekend between Saturday, November 24, and Sunday, November 25.
Which will finish with the lights switch on at 4:30pm on November 25.
There will be the market, food and drink stalls, plus street performers, reindeer, face painting, music performances, character walkabouts, a visit from Santa, fun fair rides and activities at Westbury Manor
Christmas lights switch-on at 5.15pm, Saturday, November 17.
Music, stalls and a festive sing song taking place beforehand.
Santa's Grotto will be open every day except Sundays from Saturday, December 8 – Saturday, December 22 at the Waterlooville Library.

There will be carol singing in Emsworth Square from 5.30pm on Friday, November 30 before the Christmas lights are switched-on at 6pm.
The Mengham Road shopping area Christmas lights will be switched-on from 5pm on Friday, December 7.
