CANNABIS grower Andrew Darke was fined £120 for producing two plants.

Darke, 44, of Temple Street, Landport, Portsmouth, admitted producing two cannabis plants at his address on May 17.

Portsmouth magistrates fined him £120 with a £30 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

The drugs will be forfeited and destroyed under a court order, magistrates ruled.

Darke was also fined £120 after admitting failing to surrender to custody.
