It looks like it’s going to be a mixture of sun and cloud in the Portsmouth area this week – but temperatures should remain high as we head into September.
The Met Office has forecasted highs of 22C, with the weather turning slightly cooler by the end of the week.
Today the Met Office said 2018 was the joint hottest summer on record for the UK, and the hottest ever for England.
Here’s what the forecast is looking like for Portsmouth in the next few days:
Tuesday – Forecast to be the hottest day of the week with highs of 22C. Sunny spells in the morning turning cloudier in the afternoon.
Wednesday – Cloudy with sunny spells. Highs of 21C although it will feel slightly cooler.
Thursday – Sunny in the morning with more cloud in the afternoon. Highs of 19C with little chance of rain.
Friday – The coolest day of the week with highs of 18C – but could be less than 10C when you wake up. Some sun in the morning but will be cloudier later on.
