Forecasters say the warm weather will continue in Portsmouth for at least tomorrow.

The Met Office is predicting highs of 14C around the city as the sun breaks through clouds following a mild day today and a glorious weekend.

The regional forecast for London and the south-east is: ‘Any mist should readily clear leaving a fine morning with some spells of warm sunshine. A few showers are likely to develop for the afternoon, some heavy.’

The outlook for Wednesday to Friday is: ‘Breezier than of late with some showery rain at times. However still a good deal of dry weather to be had, and temperatures will remain above average for late March.’
