A package of top performers have been added to this year’s Isle of Wight Festival bill, including The Kooks, Razorlight and Scouting For Girls.
Joining them at the event in June will be The Pretenders, Imelda May, Alison Moyet, Starsailor, Space, Melanie C, Tom Chaplin, Alex Francis, Lucy Spraggan, Bang Bang Romeo, Paradisia, Wild Front, The Slow Readers Club, Showhawk Duo and Victoria.
The acts will join those already lined-up to perform at the festival – headliners Arcade Fire, David Guetta, Run DMC and Rod Stewart, as well as recently announced acts Rag ‘N’ Bone Man, Bastille, Kaiser Chiefs, Catfish & The Bottlemen, Zara Larsson, Clean Bandit, The Vamps and The Amazons.
English-American rock band The Pretenders are fronted by Chrissie Hynde. She said: ‘I’m absolutely over the moon to be playing Isle of Wight, it is one of the most iconic festivals of our time.
‘I’m humbled to be playing at a festival that so many legends have performed at, I can’t wait.’
