JAILED: The criminals sentenced at Portsmouth Crown Court in the last month

Here are some of the criminals who have appeared in Hampshire courts over the last month – and been sent to jail for their crimes.  

- Former prostitute Charlene Brushwood, 20, and her partner Phillip Mason, 46, frogmarched an autistic man to a cash point in an ‘evil’ street robbery. They were each jailed for five years. Read more here.

- Tyron Prout, 26, of Redlands Lane in Fareham, has been jailed after assaulting his ex-partner and a police officer, and causing damage to a fence and a car. Read more here.

- Seasoned burglar Raymond Brain was handed a 29-month jail term after breaking into a family home and stealing jewellery, a laptop, credit car and Radley handbag. Read more here.

- ‘Professional burglar’ Barry Close locked himself in his getaway car after breaking into a house in Gosport. The 38-year-old, of Hove Court in Lee-on-the-Solent, has previously spent just over 21 years in prison for burglary offences. Read more here.

- Four men, including one from Portsmouth, have been jailed for their role in the killing of Richard Hardy in Farnborough on January 26 this year. Omar Goodridge, 21, of Montgomery Way in Portsmouth, was sentenced to 28 years in prison after being found guilty of murder. Brothers Hashim Siddique, 20, and Qasan Siddique, 23, both of Fintry Walk in Farnborough, were also found guilty of murder and jailed for 27 and 29 years respectively. Leroy Bosha, 27, of Aldwick Close in Farnborough, was found guilty of manslaughter and jailed for eight years. Read more here.

- Wayne Wilkinson, of no fixed address, was sentenced to 18 months in jail for his spree of 14 break-ins. The 32-year-old had targeted properties across Cosham, Drayton and Portchester. Read more here.

- Drug addict Lyndon Holmes, 37, was jailed after leading police on a bizarre low-speed chase through Gosport. He pleaded guilty to dangerous driving, and driving without insurance and a driving licence. Read more here.

- Mark Hilden, 24, led police on a 117mph chase with a one-year-old child sat on his partner's lap in the passenger seat. He was sentenced to two years and six months in prison. Read more here.

- William Westbrook, 55, of Marigold Court in Bridgend, left DNA on windows when he tried to break into a house in Wickham. He was sentenced to five years in prison. Read more here.

- Tristan Walters, 20, of Draycotte Avenue, Harrow, London, was caught with crack cocaine and heroin in Portsmouth on September 3. Read more here.
