SEASONED dancers and enthusiastic beginners joined staff from Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust Rheumatology Department for a "Dance for your Bones" Christmas 'Strictly' style Tea Dance.

Clinical Nurse Specialist Amanda Finnigan said:  ‘Dancing is considered to be an effective and fun activity to help reduce the risk of Osteoporosis.’

The dance, organised by Pauline Peskett from PP Dance Club, raised around £300 for the Portsmouth National Osteoporosis Society.

Matron for Rheumatology Colin Beevor  added: Our dance was a great way to thank volunteers for their tireless commitment to the Department.’
