If you're heading down the M27 towards Hedge End, a quicker way might be to leave at junction 7 and head towards Botley and Curdrige.
From there drivers can head south towards Wickham, to Fareham and then head back onto the M27 at junction 11.
This route is expected to take drivers about 50 minutes, compared to the delays of two hours on the motorway.
