THIEF Thomas Peters has been jailed.

The 54-year-old admitted stealing meat worth £26.30 at Sainsbury’s in Southsea on May 17.

Portsmouth magistrates jailed him for four weeks.

Peters was sent to prison because of his previous convictions.
