A NEW art exhibition will showcase the talents of adults with learning disabilities.
The Art Invisible display has launched at the Somerstown Central Hub and is part of the Right to Work Community Interest Company.
The group has been meeting every week at the Tyseley Road site for more than a year.
The project, led by artist Sharron de Abreu Faria, focuses on local themes and was organised by Portsmouth City Council’s housing service.
Jo Bennett, commercial property and leasehold services manager at the council, said: ‘I’m delighted that we are able to showcase this exhibition at the hub.
‘The Art Invisible group are an integral part of the community here so we are happy to show our support and help to promote the very important work that they do.’
The display is running alongside the existing We Don’t Need Culture project by Karl Rudziak.
The launch is at 6.30pm tomorrow at the hub, Refreshments will be available.
