Portsmouth doorman permanently scarred after being glassed at Southsea nightclub

A Portsmouth doorman was left requiring 20 stitches after being glassed at a nightclub. 

The incident happened at Kingsley's Nightclub and Bar in Osbourne Road, Southsea, between 1.20am and 1.30am on September 2.

The 31 year old doorman, who is from Portsmouth, suffered a facial injury which required 20 stitches and has been permanently scarred after being assaulted with a glass. 

Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

He is in the centre of the picture released by Hampshire Constabulary.
