A TAXI firm has announced it will raise all fares by £1 due to the poor driving conditions caused by snow.

The move made by AquaCars is temporary, and will be monitored throughout the course of the day.

A post on the company’s Facebook page said: ‘Due to the adverse weather conditions and the time and risk our drivers are taking to complete each job, we have made the decision to temporarily add a £1 fare increase to all fares.

‘This will be short-term and monitored over the course of the next 24 hours.’
