A RECRUITMENT company is celebrating after it was short-listed for two national awards.

Carrington West, which is based at Lakeside, North Harbour in Portsmouth, is up for the UK’s Best Company to Work For category and Blayne Cahill is up for the UK’s Temporary Consultant of the Year in the IRP awards.

Blayne said: ‘Being shortlisted is a real honour for me, and goes to show what can be achieved here at Carrington West; the future is very exciting.’

The firm has grown rapidly since it started in 2011 and its annual turnover now stands at £26m.

Director Simon Gardiner said: ‘We are delighted to have been recognised as being one of the best recruitment companies to work for in the UK.

‘This shows despite our growth, we have not lost our focus on our main asset – our staff.’

The winners of the IRP Awards 2016 will be announced at a ceremony in London on Wednesday, December 7.
