TEENAGE thugs viciously attacked a 50-year-old man after he tried to stop them ripping a drainpipe from his home.
The victim was pushed to the ground and punched in the face before all three teenagers – aged between 16-20 – kicked him.
He suffered a large cut to the back of his ear and swelling to the back of his head.
The trio were white and were wearing dark puffa jackets and jeans.
A Hampshire police spokeswoman said the incident started with a ‘verbal altercation’ after the trio tried to pull the drainpipe of the man’s home.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Samantha Barber said: 'I am appealing to anyone who may have been in the area at the time of this incident.
‘Did you witness the attack, or did you see a group of teenagers in the area matching the descriptions?'
