A NEW TK Maxx shop will create 40 new jobs when it opens in Portsmouth.

The 1,358 sqm shop will open in Ocean Retail Park, in Burrfields Road, in August.

The firm’s existing store is set to remain in Cascades Shopping Centre, in Portsmouth.

A spokeswoman said: ‘In store you will find a huge selection of fashion and accessories for women, men, kids as well as the home, all with amazing savings.

‘Week in week out, TK Maxx buyers are on the hunt all around the globe to deliver great value on ever-changing selections of designer labels, top brands and one-off gems for the entire family.

‘With several deliveries arriving every week bringing thousands of new items to store, there will always be something new and exciting to discover.’

The store will open on August 18 at 9am.
